The main international airport in Los Angeles is the massive Los Angeles International. While you could fly connecting routes into the nearby Burbank (BUR) or John Wayne Orange County (SNA) airports, it’s typically cheapest—and likely most efficient—to fly directly into LAX.
LOS Angeles (LAX) LAX is located about 12 miles from downtown LA, so it’s typically pretty easy (although not always quick) to get into the city. From the airport, you can get downtown via Uber/Lyft (£23-30), the Flyaway bus shuttle (£7.70) or the Metro (£1.50). Be warned, the Metro is the cheapest option but doesn’t run as frequently or consistently as you may be used to. Uber is the most convenient, but can be quite expensive depending on the current traffic conditions.
