He is hands down the Greatis of the 80s along With Ronnie James Dio. Cold this be the greatist album of the 80s, its up there with Black Sabbaths Heaven and Hell and Metallicas Master of Puppets. | last good iron maiden album Number Of The Beast buy CD music this is when they hit the nail right on the head. Number Of The Beast songs i remember when i heard the prisoner, that was it. i know that run to the hills and 666 are good songs but the album has others that are as good or better. my fav is 22 acacia avenue. this song just rocks. when they lost clive burr, they said he had too many off nights, i dont believe that. he goes in the studio and does a killer job, and cant do it live, after playing live for years, come on maiden their is more to it than that. this is what they claim in the latest guitar legends magazine, even bruce claims he was the best drummer they had. hey dont think i dont like nicko, he is great. but his style and sound just doesnt fit the band like clive did. i know they have had success past this period but nothing compared to songs like 22 acacia avenue, remember tomorrow, killers, wrathchild, invasion. this is real maiden, they will never be the same after number of the beast. thanks for bruce for saying this about the former drummer. i think steve harris is just a control freak and couldnt have this in his band. i think that he is the leader, ha ha. he is just another band member. i know he wrote a lot of the stuff,but be serious and tell the truth why you let clive go. hope you like my review, cya.
