My Christmas Stocking Story

Stockings are Cherished Gifts

I still have the Christmas stocking my grandma made for me over fifty years ago.

I also still have the Christmas stockings my sister made for my small family (my husband, our baby, and me) over twenty years ago.

These are very cherished gifts that I love pulling out of the Christmas box every year.

Not only do I appreciate the hard work that went into making each of them, but I also cherish the holiday memories these stockings created.

Every year, when I hang those stockings on the mantel, I'm reminded of those handcrafters I love so much. I admire their work and stuff their stockings to create new memories for those I care about.
