Found at the foot of the slopes of Saint Sorlin d'Arves, Ski France welcomes you to Residence Les Fermes de Saint Sorlin, where you can enjoy affordable, functional and cosy accommodation for your ski holiday. The residence is found at the top end of this linear resort in an ideal location for skiing and a short walk from the centre of the resort. There are a few shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep with a wider choice down in the resort centre.

The apartments

Residence Les Fermes de Saint Sorlin offers guests a relaxing place to unwind after a long day of skiing. The complex comes fully equipped with two saunas where you can relax those muscles after being out in the cold. You will also find the largest indoor pool in the resort here, ideal whether you want a lazy swim or to practice those lengths. The living room area at the complex offers a warm fireplace, pool table, table football and video games within a vibrant atmosphere.

The apartments are basic but perfectly functional with plenty of space to relax. Apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen with hotplates, a grill or microwave and a dishwasher. Relax in your own living room with a TV, enjoy a drink on the terrace and enjoy clutter-free living with a ski locker.

The access hours to these facilities are the same as the opening hours of the reception. Saint Sorlin d'Arves

Saint Sorlin is a traditional mountain village resort in the Maurienne Valley and provides an affordable alternative for those looking for a more authentic ski experience in France. The village has managed to retain its traditional charm and french feel yet offers all the amenities of a modern ski resort and at a fraction of the price of better-known resorts. The resort is part of Les Sybelles ski area which remains relatively unknown despite being one of the largest in France with 310km of pistes (bigger than the Espace Killy!).

Ski area

Saint Sorlin d'Arves is located in the Sybelles ski area, which is made up of six resorts and enjoys 310km of pistes. Here you'll find a good mix of runs for all abilities as well as bright sunshine alongside excellent levels of snowfall. The slopes are broken down into 21 green, 61 blue, 39 red and 4 black pistes. The highest skiable point is 2620m while the lowest is 1100m giving a total altitude range of 1520m. There are also two snow parks, cross country ski trails, and plenty of restaurants where you can enjoy a mountainside lunch or two

Activities

With almost direct access to the slopes and mountains the Residence Les Fermes de Saint Sorlin offers plenty of activities and facilities within walking distance. Enjoy snowshoe walks and explore the mountains from a different angle, or take the whole family dog sledding for a fun morning or afternoon out. If you're looking for a more relaxing day out head to the spa before enjoying the bars and restaurants the resort is home to, just minutes from the apartments.

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher.

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 400 Eu (Visa, Euro Card, French Cheque) for your apartment. This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages or additional cleaning.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit of 56-168 Eu (depending on type) will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Payment conditions

Ski France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two installments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 30 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 31 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 installment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 Eu on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 Eu.

- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
- If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 Eu is not available on these prices).

*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking. 2) Pay in full (always available and obligatory if booked less than 30 days prior to arrival)

Cancellation conditions

1) If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

2) If you choose Standard Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

3) If you choose Non Refundable Conditions
As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
