I like the way bluray is developing and will most likely purchase version 2, when it becomes available. Should I remove the trail version 1, or just install ver.2 on top of the trial version at that time?

You needn't remove version 1, just nstall version 2 again when it is available.

All version of our programs are individual, they can overwrite the old version when installing.
