Using latest version of Ideal.

Ideal hangs on Parsing DVD to detect protection....

Eventually a screen appears saying check version then export log & bup and have emailed *.buz to yourselves.

I found another thread and have tried importing D88E35A1.PCL, that didnt work.

Tried another route

Played disc in Media Player Classic to find title number

Title I require is 71 and selected Main Movie only.

Ideal has been analysing for over an hour, so have stopped

Ideal completed and created a folder with title 71 - extracted files, was able to view using VLC but unable to burn using DVDShrink or DVDFab

Ran FixVts

Ran DvdShrink, everything ok

Thanks for the information. Do you still have the copied files which is created by Ideal DVD Copy? If yes, please open Ideal DVD Copy, choose "From hard disk..." from the "Source" dropdown list to choose the VIDEO_TS folder of the copied files as the source, then click the icon on the left top corner of Ideal DVD Copy, click "Export bup files", then send the exported .buz file to support@idealdvdcopy.com , we'll analyze it and check what's wrong. Thanks.

BTW, please use the same method to send us the .buz file of the files which is fixed by FixVts.

Additional question, why do you use DVDshrink to burn since Ideal DVD Copy can burn your DVD to blank DVD directly?

The files extracted were larger than 4.7gb so it was a choice between Shrink or DVDfab

Files would not burn directly as the structure was not correct, so neither Shrink or DVDfab could read, thus the need to run Fixvts.

The resultant disc is playable, though it jumps around so its just another coaster.

Never mind. We've received your email and found your edition is another one which we haven't fixed. So the copied files isn't correct. We've just created a decryption file for you, please follow the instructions in the email to re-copy the DVD. Next time when you found a DVD need a very long time to analyze, that means the DVD has a new copy protection, please just send us the bup files, then we'll give you a solution within 24 hours.

And if the files extracted by our program are larger than 4.38GB, please also send us the bup files to check what's wrong. Thanks.
