DMA mode is a very important factor to affect copying speed. If you enable DMA mode, then the data transfer speed will much faster.
The option in the configure window means our program will auto detect your system if the DMA is enabled every time it opens. If it is disabled, you will get a message before entering the main form of Ideal DVD Copy.
I suggest you tick it.
BTW, Ideal blu-ray Copy also has the same function, but it is set to auto-detect, and isn't listed in the configure window.
