I have purchase ideal dvd copy and i love how easy it is to use and would like to purchase a program to copy a dvd to my ipad.

i am not sure whcih program to buy, dvd-to-ipad or dvd-to-mp4, isnt that the same thing basically ?

If you just want to copy your dvd to your ipad, and don't have plan to add other mp4 player, then dvd to ipad converter is enough for you. And this program is more easy to use, since there're only iPad profile in it.

If you also have other mp4 player or Apple TV, then I suggest you purchase dvd to mp4 converter. Because mp4 program is more flexible then ipad converter, you can change the frame rate to meet for different player specifications.

However, the core code for the two programs are similar, so the quality for iPad profile are the same too.
