Simple steps to get favorite moments ripped and remixed

Do you want to put together some favorite moments from the DVD movies you have accumulated into their own small movie? Here we show you simple steps to finish the job.

Step one:

Use Ideal dvd to avi converter(free download from http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/dvd-to-avi.htm)to rip clips from dvd. You may refer to http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/convert-clip-to-avi.htm to learn how to do or follow the steps below:

1. Launch Ideal DVD to AVI Converter.
2. Insert a DVD to your DVD-Rom drive, or click Menu "File"-->"Open DVD Files" to select the "VIDEO_TS" folder of a DVD.
3. Click Menu "Ripping Mode"-->"Clip Ripping", then you will get the following window.

4.Choose a proper title from the "Title" dropdown list.
5.Click Image to begin to preview the title.
6.Fill in the exact time(where the clip beginning and where its end) in corresponding textbox.
7.Click Image to add it to the clip task list.
8.Choose a proper audio track and subtitle.

Attention:If you want to add multiple clips, just repeat the above steps.
9: Click "Start" button to begin the ripping.

Step two:

Use windows movie maker to re-join all the clips to one movie. Kindly note, if you got any message to tell you install some codec when importing the ripped video file, please download Xvid codec and install it first before re-importing.

You may refer to the help document of windows movie maker to learn how to do or follow the steps below:

1.Open a New Project

Upon opening the Movie Maker application, you should name and save your new project. Do this by clicking CTRL + S or by using the File -> Save menu. This will open a window prompting you to name and save your new project.

2.Import video

3.Place video in Timeline

You can import one video then place it in timeline, you can also import all videos first, then place each one from the "Collections" dropdown list to timeline.

4. Add proper effects if you want

5.publise the movie
