How to download new fixes for protected DVDs?

Postby cloud » 15 Mar 2010, 09:23

**In fact, Ideal DVD Copy v3.2.3 added "auto-update anti-copy protection module" feature, if you have enable this feature, then Ideal DVD Copy will automatically check if there's a new fix and then download it to your PC. But by analyzing some users' log file, I found although they have enabled "auto-update" feature, for some reason, the update failed. So I open this tread, wish will be helpful for our users.**

For Ideal DVD Copy users:

If you're using v3.2.3, you may open Ideal DVD Copy, then click Image, then click "Check Update". If you got "Updated finished" message, that means all the new fixes was successfully downloaded to your PC. You may just try to copy your DVDs again to see if it works.

If you got "Ideal DVD Copy update failed. Please check your network or the configuration of your anti-virus and firewall software", you may close your anti-virus or firewall software, then try again. Or just click "Allow" when your anti-virus or firewall software reports Ideal DVD Copy is trying to access internet.

Since version 3.2.3, we'll upload new fixes to our server, won't include it in the setup file untile next upgrade, so if you're still using the old version, please first upgrade to v3.2.3, you may download it from http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/download/Id ... opy323.exe and install it. Then follow the instructions above to get the new fixes for protected DVDs.

For Ideal DVD Converters users:
At present, all the ideal DVD converter programs don't have auto-update function. All the new fixes will be still included in the setup file. So you still need to check http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/download.htm if there's a update, then download the updated version there.

Yes, there's a checkbox in the configuration window that you can enable this function or disable.

If you check it, then every time you open Ideal DVD Copy, it will automatically check new decryption files from our server.

The new version will automatically download new fixes from our server, so there's no need to check it manually.
